I've added this page to demonstrate the technique used for the pictures you see here on the site. 

These pictures are done using a simple wood burning system and a combination of oil colors.  The system I use is the "Colwood Detailer" along with a standard burning tool from Walmart.  I use one for the fine lines and the later for heavy shading.  The pictures are drawn using a standard pencil and then gone over with one of the burning tools.  This is a free hand process done without magnification.  Following the burning process, the pictures are colored using a combination of oil colors and blending. Although similiar, none of the pictures are the same.  Since all are originals drawn by hand they cannot be duplicated or printed

The finest details are not drawn by pencil.  They are added directly with the burning tool
